Meeting Notes Distiller
Turns messy notes or a transcript into something you can send: a 5-line recap, decisions, action items as owner + due (guessed items are marked guessed), and a parking lot. Corporate-safe tone toggle for when the thread includes your VP. One copy block for the recap email.

Spec
Build a Meeting Notes Distiller that makes it safe to have been the person taking notes. PRODUCT Paste a transcript or bullets. Get a sendable recap. Never invent a decision that was not in the text — mark inferred items. OUTPUT - 5-line recap (what the meeting was for, what moved, what is still open) - Decisions: list. If none, say “no decisions recorded”. - Action items: owner + due. If owner missing, guess from names in the transcript and tag GUESSED. If due missing, leave “unspecified” — do not invent Friday. - Parking lot: topics raised and not resolved - Recap email: subject + body, ready to paste. Greeting optional. SCREENS 1. Paste + meta (meeting title, date, optional attendee list) 2. Distill view — four sections + email block 3. Tone toggle: Neutral (default) / Corporate-safe (hedges, no slang) / Direct (short) DATA Last 8 distillations, localStorage. EMPTY Sample: a messy 25-line standup with two owners, one decision, and a bike-shed about fonts. VISUAL Recap-first. Actions as a table (item, owner, due, guessed?). Email in a raised box with one Copy button. No timeline toy. OUT OF SCOPE Zoom/Meet bots, calendar, sending email, speaker diarization services. ACCEPTANCE - Sample yields at least one decision and two actions, one of which is GUESSED if owner was implied. - Copy email copies subject and body. - “No decisions recorded” appears if the user pastes pure status.
