Inbox Triage Agent
You paste several emails. Each is classified: act today, waiting, fyi, archive. For ‘act today’, a short reply is drafted in your voice (optional sample). The agent will not invent facts from missing threads — it asks a clarifying question instead. Split-pane list + draft, built for the Sunday-night pile, not for wrapping your entire Gmail.

Spec
Build an Inbox Triage Agent for a pasted pile, not a Gmail replacement. PRODUCT User pastes 1–20 messages (plain text, typical “On date, X wrote:” threads are fine). Each message is classified and, if it needs a human today, a short draft is offered. The agent must not invent facts from emails that were not pasted. BUCKETS - ACT TODAY — needs a reply or a task - WAITING — ball is in someone else’s court; extract who and since when - FYI — no action - ARCHIVE — noise, FYI that is already stale, newsletters SCREENS 1. Paste well (big). Optional “my voice” sample (3–8 sentences). 2. Split desk: list left (bucket tag + subject/from + one-line why), detail right (original, draft or “no draft”, clarifying questions). Mobile: list, then detail as a push view with back. 3. Batch bar: counts per bucket. “Copy all ACT drafts”. DRAFT RULES - 80–120 words max, shorter if the incoming mail is short. - If a date, number, or file is missing, do not fake it — add a question in a “need from you” list above the draft. - Voice sample, if provided, constrains diction. If not, default to plain and brief. - Never apologize for an unspecified delay. Never “I hope this finds you well”. DATA Last pile in localStorage (messages + classifications + drafts). Voice sample persisted separately. EMPTY Sample pile: 4 messages (a scheduling ask, a newsletter, a “circling back”, a FYI thread). VISUAL Mail desk. Bucket tags as 3-char mono (ACT / WAI / FYI / ARC). Draft in a raised pane. No pretend inbox sync chrome. OUT OF SCOPE OAuth to Gmail/Outlook, send, labels, filters, notifications. ACCEPTANCE - Sample pile puts the newsletter in ARCHIVE or FYI, the scheduling ask in ACT with a draft. - A draft never contains a invented meeting time. - Mobile list/detail works; 44px back target.
